Chicks

So, either this is the best and funnest idea I have had....or I am off my rocker. If you ask my husband, he would say for sure I am off my rocker. But thankfully he is very tolerant of my bright ideas. Good thing because he has to build me a chicken coop! I finally got some chicks.

Meet Boo and Omelet.
They are three days old in this photo. They were hanging out while I put their temporary home together.
Oh my, they sure are adorable!
Here they are are hanging out in their new temporary home. In about 4 weeks they can be moved into their new home outside. Hopefully my dear husband will be able to get it built!
I painted the sign to hang on the coop. I can't wait to see it all finished!

Gardening

I haven't been doing much crafting lately. I haven't been very motivated to sew, although I have a stack of things waiting to be made. I have been gardening though.
Here is one of my garden beds. You can see the corner of the other one, there are two of them. There are also pots all over the yard filled with veggies.
I planted peas, green beans, cow peas, green bell peppers, red bell peppers, purple bell peppers, white bell peppers, sweet peppers, jalapeno peppers, Anaheim peppers, papaya pear squash, radishes, zucchini, yellow squash, butternut squash, soy beans, basil, parsley, cilantro, a few different types of tomatoes, rosemary, ruby red corn, white corn and pumpkins. I hope everything does well this year. I am excited to be trying a few new things that I haven't grown in the past.

Pixie Power Photo of the Month

It's that time already! Here is February's Pixie Power Photo.
Sid was awfully quiet, so I thought I should check on her. She was sitting behind the chair I was in and she found my tinted lip balm in my purse that was hanging on the chair. I don't think she's quite ready for make-up just yet!

Sneak Peek

I have actually finished this quilt but haven't had a chance to take a photo. So here is just a little peek, it was about 1/2 done when I took this.

PJ's for Ethan

Ethan already needed new pajamas. I just made him some for Christmas. That boy grows way too fast!

He had them on weird, they look puckered between his legs in this picture. But they really aren't.

They look right in the backside view.

Valentine's for my Gurranimals

I made treat bags for the Gurranimals for Valentine's Day. I made similar bags last year too. I love these bags because after the candy is gone they can use them for snacks on the go.

Valentine's...yea yea I know I am LATE!

Ok so I am nowhere near being on time with this post but oh-well! I haven't had a minute of free time for my blog lately. So, I'll be playing catch up with the next few posts.

Here are the valentine's Liam and I made for his class.
