Fabric Baskets

I saw this tutorial for fabric baskets on Pink Penguin and filed it away in my "to do" list. Then I saw the basket my friend Jen made and remembered the tutorial that had been buried in my pile of stuff. Thanks to Jen and the scraps of fabric she already had cut out and ready to go, I made these two baskets yesterday. And of course I stuffed them full of sewing stuff the moment I finished them. I didn't even remember to take photos of them first. So here they are full of stuff because I was too lazy to empty them!

I just spent the last 3 hours laying in bed with my beloved laptop, searching this fantastic blog.

My new bag

I spent the day sewing this new bag, I absolutely love it. The pattern is out of this book, The New Handmade: Simple Sewing for Contemporary Style. There are lots of really cute patterns in the book.

Pillowcase

It was time to make another pillowcase for Sid. I love this Pebbles Flintstone fabric.

Cuff Bracelets

I made a few of these today for my Gurranimals. I only photographed the boys cuffs and I forgot to photograph Sidney's, but hers has Pebbles Flintstone on it.
