Catching Up With Projects

I have been trying to catch up on my to make list. I've been able to check a few things off. The rest is going to have to wait until after my surgery on October 8th. Excuse the quality of my photos. I took most of these in my terribly lit bathroom. :/
This is a super awesome bag from the Weekend Sewing book. It holds a ton of stuff!

The Lickety Split Bag. Absolutely LOVE this pattern. It was simple and quick. And it is adorable! I plan on making a bunch of these. This one is corduroy and cotton fabric.
I think the doll is adorable but I didn't care for the construction of it. I want to try this one again. She is out of the Wee Wonderfuls book.
Another doll from the same book. I absolutely love this doll! The girl she went to live with loved her too.

Sorry about the awful photo, I used my cell phone. This is hanging above Sid's bed. It says DREAM. I love the vintage dresser knobs I used to hang the banner. They are pink crystal, wish the photo showed them clearly.

Gurranimals and Chickens

They are all growing up so fast. The chickens and my kids!

A New Dress For The Pixie

Because she doesn't have enough clothes already....I made her a new dress. She is such a spoiled little pixie! Don't look at her shoes, she refused to change them, they are her favorite pair. Who says checks don't go with EVERYTHING?!

Mini Dachshund

How cute is this necklace?! It's from the Wee Wonderfuls book.

My Garden

Here is a recent photo of the yard. We've been working on it here and there. Darren finished the chicken's yard. He built a compost bin which you can see to the right of the chicken's fence. He also built a third veggie bed, so I can to do some fall/winter planting this year.

Here are two of my veggie beds. There is zucchini, papaya pear squash, serrano peppers, yellow peppers, bell peppers, green beans, butternut squash and swish chard planted here.
My corn, more butternut squash, grapes, and mini pumpkins.

Mothzilla! We found him in the garden, newly hatched. He was GIGANTIC!

And the rain barrels Darren built.

Finally Something To Show For The Time I've Been Away

I have been terrible about blogging for quite some time now. I have been preoccupied with other projects around the house. Trying to get everything finished before I have to go in for major neck surgery. But I finally have a sewing project to show!

What is a pixie to be for Halloween? No, not Tinkerbell silly.....
