Lookie what I got!

OH look how pretty my new vintage machine is! My Father in Law found it at a garage sale. I don't know how well works, I haven't tried it. I do have to replace a screw so I can put a knob back on the front drawer. And I need to clean it up a bit, it looks like it has been in storage for awhile. But oh how pretty it is going to be.

Another Birthday Present

I finished another birthday present today. This one is for my adorable goddaughter. I love this fabric!

I can't wait to see her in this dress, she's going to look adorable.

Baby Gifts

Yesterday I saw my niece who is 8 months pregnant. Seeing her made me miss being pregnant. But that will never happen again, I am done. I have my three beautiful Gurranimals!
I was so excited to give her all the goodies I made for her.

This is the first diaper cake I have ever made. It was fun to put together. I wish I had bought more small things to stick in it though. Now that I know how to do it I can get more creative on future ones.
This is everything, two "taggie toys", rag quilt, two bibs with matching spit up rags, a small zippered bag with nail clippers, brush set, & wipes, a matching tote bag, and the diaper cake.
I think everything came out really cute. I hope she loves everything!
Here she is opening her gift. And Sid, checking out the "taggie toys" in hopes that Miranda would drop one so she could run off with it!

Pixie Moment

It's not time for the Pixie Power Photo of the Month, BUT I couldn't pass these photos up without posting them. Sid is quite the silly girl and can easily amuse herself. She loves putting on hats and has now taken to putting on whatever fits on her head. One of her favorites besides pants is her tote bags. Today she decided was definitely a purse day.....

I particularly love the felted purse on her head, it makes her look like the travel gnome! I am certain she is going to love when I share these with her future boyfriends!

OH NO!!!!

Somehow all the blogs I was following (and there were many!) disappeared from my dashboard list. WTH? I know I didn't delete them, where did they go??? How on earth am I going to find them all to redo my list?
If you know I followed your blog, could you please leave a comment with your blog address so I can continue following it? Thank you so much!

Lunchtime

Liam picked out some fabric so I could make him a new lunch bag. Who woulda guessed it would be Spongebob. Ok so that is totally sarcastic. He LOVES Spongebob.
Here is the inside of his bag with his new Klean Kanteen, dish and napkin all packed inside.
Since we went very "green" with the bag and the bottle, I figured he needed a reusable napkin to go with everything. He loves it all and can't wait to take it to school with him tomorrow.

Just a little bit of pretty

I had to add something pretty to my boring camera bag. I think it looks much better now.

Birthday Doll & Dress

I made this for a special 2 year olds birthday. I hope she likes it. I ran it by my 1 1/2 year old daughter to see if it met the requirements of a little girl. Sure enough, she tried to steal it. I just might have to make one for Sid too.

Same fabric, different softie

Along with the fabric that my best friend sent for me to make her a tote bag, she sent this red fabric and striped fabric. She told me to make a doll and a monster out of it. I think they came out cute, BUT I think I could have done much more with the doll. She seems pretty plain to me. I may have to start over and try another doll. The monster looks more like a dog but it turned out really cute. The mouth zips and unzips and it is a pocket.

Pebbles Flintstone

I finished Sid's Halloween costume, all that is left is the stuff I have to buy. She'll need a bone for her hair and a flesh colored leotard to wear under her dress (she needs to stay warm somehow!) Oh, she's gonna be so adorable!

Superheroes

This has got to be one of the cutest superheroes I've ever seen!

I also made a cape for Ethan but he didn't want to be photographed. Ethan's is blue and black and he calls it his Batman cape. Liam calls his green and yellow one a Robin cape. Sid will soon get one and she'll either get a Batgirl cape or Wonder Woman. She'll wear her cape when she is taking a break from her duties as a pixie.

Another tea wallet

I had leftover material from the basket liner so I had to make another tea wallet. I think this one is even cuter than the first one.

Basket Liner

I finally got around to making a basket liner for my bike basket. I couldn't find a pattern that I liked so I made this up as I went. I am pretty happy with it, I think it looks awesome on my bike. Of course I haven't taken a photo of it on my bike yet. But it matches perfect, my cruiser is pink with white fenders. Eventually I will get a photo of it on my bike.
