I found this tutorial for a tea wallet and HAD to make one. Every tea drinker I know is getting one, it is too cute!

A tale of two totes.....
At last, some photos! It's only two projects but at least I finally have something to show. This first tote bag is for my best friend. She sent me a hospital scrub shirt and some green fabric and said "make me a bag out of this". It was a challenge because the shirt had pockets that I had to work around. Which resulted in two different sides to the tote. I think it took me longer to deconstruct the shirt than sew the whole bag! In the end, I am pleased with the result. I think the different sides gives it some character. I hope she likes is as much as I do!
This next tote is for me. Wow, it's been a while since I made something for myself! I ordered this beautiful fabric online a while ago and just couldn't decide what to make out of it. I think this turned out really cute. And I have plenty of fabric left over. I think I will make a dress for the pixie with the rest of it.

Pixie Power Photo of the Month
What, no photos?
I wish I had a big list of projects to show for the month, but that is not the case. Boooo! I have only made a few things and I don't even have photos to prove it. Maybe I'll get around to photographing the super hero capes I made for my boys and the tote I made for my best friend. And when I do, I promise to post them. Oh yea I also made a tote bag to go with the rag quilt I posted a while ago.

Cupcakes for my little cupcake
Finally I got around to making Sid's cupcake apron. I have had this fabulous fabric for a couple months now but NO time. I had inspiration to get this done today though. Sid received the sweetest tea set in the mail from her Godmother. So she needed an apron to wear while hosting tea parties with her brother.

Picture of the Month
The Pixie Power Photo of the Month for June is this adorable photo taken at the Oakland Zoo. Every visit to the zoo I take a photo of my boys on this tomato frog, it has marked their growth I guess you can say. We go to the zoo often but still in each photo you can see a difference in the kids. This visit was special because Sid was big enough to start her traditional frog photo. She is looking particularly pixieish and adorable too!
