It's finished!

I have finally finished the Pixie's birthday present. I have already posted the rag quilt, but here it is with the matching bag and cute stuffed kitty. I think it all came out much cuter than I imagined it would. I hope she enjoys it.



Here is the the bag with the quilt inside.



And here is the kitty. I used a pattern by Amy Butler for the kitty. Everything else was made up as I went.

    I would so buy something like this!!! Do you sell these! I love it. I really wish I had a sewing machine....

    I would sell these, but I don't think it would be worth the cost. I wouldn't want to sell them for too much, but I think the cost of the materials would be to high. I don't remember exactly what I spent on this, but I did buy a 1/2 yard each of 9 fabrics, plus 2 1/2 yards of another. Plus the other supplies. I know I spent over $60 for everything. So to make a profit I would have to sell it for more. To me that seems too high, and I wouldn't think anyone would pay that much. Maybe I am wrong?
